Looks like I'm off to Majuro in the Marshall's for a week or two in May.

Got really excited reading about the wrecks in the lagoon on Kwajelen, thought I might head down there when my work finishes on Majuro, then found that it's off limit to tourists. Missile base. it occurred to me that some local knowledge might be the go....

Anyone been to the area recently/currently there/knows anything about the diving/freediving scene there. I'm keen to do some photography, particularly wrecks, although I don't enjoy lugging my camera and housing down much more than 20m so keen to get some info on the best shallower (and accessible without a security clearance) wreck sites.

Any freedive friendly photo wreck oppportunities in Chuuk?

Have looked into Chuuk in some more detail and It's looking like possibly the best option. Any recommendatios on where to stay and operators to dive with?
