Hi All

I'm going to Olu Deniz in Late October for 9 days.
I was planning to take my fd equipment to do some technique training while I have a pool, and some deeper water to practise duck dives.

Are there any freedivers in that area or clubs/schools where I might be able to get a day trip out?

Thanks

Gary

Hi Gary

I don't know of any schools or clubs around this way, all though I am based in Gocek for the summer and have access to a boat if you would be keen to catch up and go for a dive let me know should be around till end of Oct

Cheers

hi all

you can find a lot of clubs there. but it s forbidden for fishing Olu Deniz and arround there. In Turkey freediving didn t improve. If you want you can find good spearfisher in Antalya , Mersin and Adand

Hi guys, I'm also going to be in Turkey within the next month or two and will be keen to hook up with other divers. I'm more interested in the spearfishing side of things, so any info on spearfishing Turkey would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Kolt

Hi
What place is good for freediving in Turkey (region or maybe hotel). I need depth about 20-30m near the shore (the nearer the better), clear water, small waves etc.

Hi voytek

Oludeniz has a nice lagoon which at it's deepest is around 40 metres I think.

I stayed at Mozaik apartments while I was there.

You have to pay (not much) to get into the main lagoon area entrance but if you go further round you can probably get in free.

Hope this helps
