Hi buddha, never been to Zante unforunately (Zakynthos in Greece) but i am sure you will find lots of nice places to snorkel and freedive. Zante Zakynthos
Zante is the most important nesting area in the Mediterranean for Careta, careta turtles. May want to check with a local scuba dive shop - Diving Center Turtle Beach

to really recreational freediving i can recommend for example location Makris Gialos on the northeast coast, which is easy to reach it by car. In the rocks on the left side you can find a short tunnel at shallow depth to swim through.
For more advanced freediving i recommend a beautiful locations on the southernmost tip of the island (south of Limni Keri), especially location The Arch. But this area is accessible only by boat, diving here can be arranged with diving base in Limni Keri.

If it's not too late ;( I was freediving in 2007 at the island of Zakinf (aka Zante) together with my wife and in our humble IMHO the best spots are at the rocks of Keri and at the islet Maratonisi ("Turtle island") very close to Limni Keri - just see the above post of aris...
