My girlfriend and I are planning a trip to Indo in early July and would really like to do some freediving while we are over there. We would love to dive around Komodo national park, but are having a hard time finding resources for safe ways to get out to dive spots. So far all of the scuba companies I've contacted say they won't take out freedivers. Anyone out there have any experience in the area or recommendations?

I had a good experience with orca dive club in May this year. I joined their scuba trip, great crew, saw mantas and big stuff. You would want to be around level 2 freediver at least. Some fast drift dives and 20-30m if you wanted as well as mellowed ones. They are on Facebook or email info@orca-dive club-Flores.com Liza Meyer was great. I will go back in August. Good luck.
