I m looking for places and Freedivers around the 19th to 28tth of January on
Lanzarote.

Does anyone has expierience in Freediving/scuba diving at Lanzarote?

Thanks for hints and help,

BMJ

I was in Lanzarote last month, I asked at the local dive school, but they said that there was no freedive club or school on the island. So, I just did some deep snorkelling. I was in Playa Blanca and found the maximum depth was just over 10m even quite a distance from the beach. There was plenty of life, including an Angel Shark.

I went in October this year, did some diving at Puerto Del Carmen where there's a dive centre 10 metres from the beach. There's a few wrecks and a reef which is easily accessible from the beach and has a depth of up to 30 metres. The local dive centre where we stayed (Costa Teguise) recommended going to the north of the island to dive, as the visibility tends to be better and less choppy, however I don't drive and unfortunately you need transport to get there so I didn't get the chance!

P.S Watch out for the swarms of Jellyfish! :crutch
