For the attention of you nordic freedivers, on Monday 22/11 Swedish team freedivers Weine Gustafsson and Tobias Nilson is going to be featured on TV4 Nyhetsmorgon at aprox. 08.45 AM, where they will talk about freediving in general and the upcoming World Championships in Egypt. Some freedive fotage will also be featured.

Two days later, wednesday 22/11 at 11.00 AM Weine will also do an intervju on the subject for Swedish Radio P3 on the show Lantz i P3. Always a good thing of course that the sport is being promoted, and I am sure that the guys will do an exellent job.

It turned out pretty well considering the fact that swedish television had apparently done very little research. We provided fotage the day before the show, and some 15 min before the guys where going live, we had to tell the guys in the controlroom what was featured on the material provided (aprox. 3 min).

About the same time we were doing that, they had sort of a "coming up" newsflash live on the program that read, quote "Weine and Tobias are going to Egypt to become unconcious", so when the guys went on they had to clear that up to begin with. In general the hosts of the show seemed very confused and for a person with little or no experience from freediving I can imagen that it must have been hard to grasp the basics of the sport from watching the show. To put it in context, today, when Weine were on Swedish Radio P3 the difference was like night and day. Well researched, informative, entertaining etc.

Best of luck to you all in Egypt!
