On the website of the French diving federation FFESSM, I saw an announcement of a conference dedicated to the freedving physilogy. Better told it is the regular meeting of "la Société de Médecine Subaquatique et Hyperbare" (Society of Underwater and Hyperbaric Medicine), but this time its main topic is freediving (the other one is resuscitation).

The conference takes place on 16th October 2010 in Angers, France. You can see more details and the program of the conference here:

L'Apnée a l'honneur du Colloque de la société de médecine subaquatique et hyperbare - Site temporaire du Comite FFESSM Bretagne - Pays de la Loire d'études et de sports sous-marins CIBPL-FFESSM

Unfortunately, the conference will be hel in French only, but if anyone among you is inteerested in the topics discussed there, and want me to mediate eventual participation with the organizers, do not hesitate to ask.

Program of the conference:

Trux, is there any chance you could get hold of the abstract booklet?

I'll try to ask - I think a friend of mine may go there, but am not sure. If not, Í can try asking the organizers, or some of the participants I know.
