Are there any freediving podcasts? I can't seem to find any on itunes, although PodDiverRadio does have a couple of episodes where freedivers are interviewed. Should I look somewhere other than itunes, like maybe podcast alley? Is it because freediving is more popular in Europe than North America? Perhaps there are freediving podcasts but they aren't in English? Unfortunately my second and third languages are French and Spanish but I am not fluent in either. I can watch movies in French but I am better at reading it so that kind of defeats the purpose of listening to a podcast.

If you don't know what a podcast is ( I know not everybody is a teenybopper or on the cusp of the Internet Generation like moi :t): it's kind of like a radio show broadcast on the Internet. They are usually in MP3 or similar format so you can download and save them to listen to on your computer or a portable MP3 player.

It is difficult to speak when you have to hold your breath - that may explain the laps of freediving audio broadcasting :)

Ugh, how silly of me. I am already subscribed to that one and forgot to mention that it is excellent. I was hoping to find an audio one with discussions about maybe destinations, techniques, gear reviews, training, etc.

They were but you have to hunt around to find them. I think the one with Martin Stepanek was the best one but there was another that was pretty good too, I haven't listened to them in ages.

NEW INFORMATION: Pod Diver Radio is back online. Apparently there was a technical issue. If you are on itunes then resubscribe to PodDiverRadio 2009. If you search for "SCUBA" or "diving" there will be three Pod Diver Radio feeds, choose the 2009 one. ANYWAY apparently episode 108 so is going to combine all past freediving episodes, including the aforementioned interview.

Hey thanks for the props! I'm trying to keep the content diverse with interviews alongside the in-water action.
