Freediving Romania - Grand Opening Today!

"The Romanian Association for Development of Freediving", on short (and "stage" name!) Freediving Romania - first ever freediving association in Romania -goes public today with a grand opening event in Bucharest, Romania!

We already applied for Observer Status with AIDA International, we have among our ranks 2 instructors, a bunch of certified AIDA freedivers and a steady growing number of supporters! I hope that we can start soon enough to compete again and contribute to the sport both in Romania and beyond.

this was a dream of mine ever since i discovered sergiu and he told me about DB forum [2007]...for shure he had the same thaught even before me :x
perhaps was something because i remember that after we talked, he decided to return in romania [was in hungary at that time] and begin a hard but rewardfull work.
it took us four years to enlarge our little comunity, to do dedicated freediving expeditions, to begin beautyful frindhip, but finally we are alive!!!
as i stated in another thread, between 22-30 july we are to be found in toroni -halkidiki - grecee for another freediving expedition FREE3*** HERE

We have a Romanian girl here in one of our freedving clubs in Lyon, and I think she may be interested in joining you, and perhaps having her competition performances certified as Romanian national records And not being far from Lignano, she might be perhaps interested to participate at the WC too.

I wrote to her some time ago using the mailing system on apnea.cz, no reply unfortunately. if you have her contacts, we would love to get in touch with her -we are rather low on freediving ladies!

I did not see her this year, since she changed job and did not come much, but the situation changed, so I hope she'll come back regularly again. I contacted her, and am awaiting the reply.
