Hi all,

I am looking for an affordable wrist computer for freediving/spearfishing. All I want is for it to give the time, maybe but not necessaraly have a timer/chrono, give depth and for it to record the depth chart so I can view it on my PC. All I can find are expensive diving watches with lots of gizmos/functions I don't need. Does anyone have an idea of something that fits my needs?

Thanks,
Gabriel

The Aeris F10 will do this- and can be found for fairly cheap. You'll need to buy the USB cord for computer hookup though.
I've tried a couple cheaper computers/watches that claim to measure depth- but have not had much luck with accuracy (until i got the F11)

Pyle Snorkeling Master has all the functions you mentioned with the exception of data transfer to a computer. It costs ~90$.

Hi Hurlow, thanks. So it's the f10 or f11? I'm not sure from the msg if the f10 is one of those that isn't accurate.

Thanks,
Gabriel

Thanks Marcin, I will keep that in mind in case I can't get another one, data download is important for me.

Hove you used this one? How accurateand reliable is it?

Thanks,
Gabriel

I use it quite intensively for five months and it works fine. It underestimates the depth a bit. In a 3,8m deep pool it reads between 3,0 and 3,6m. If you want a computer with data transfer option you have to spend at least 400$.

Hi

I’ve the Aeris F10 V2 and it does the job pretty well!
It displays just the info that you need in very big numbers. When you are diving you don’t need to push any button. Just enter the dive mode and you are set!

The alarms are great but… they aren´t strong enough to you listen them more than 30cm of your ears. But I think that this is a common problem in dive computers.
The red led… forget it!
