Freediving / Spearo club in Cozumel

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.

Hi,

I am considering moving to live on Cozumel long term and wondered if anyone knew of any freediving (or spearo ) clubs based there?

I know there are tourist operations for boat chartering etc. but I am looking for a group that lives and dives locally on a regular basis.

Any help or suggestions gratefully received.

You still looking for dive buddies? I might be able to put you in contact with some freedivers/spearos down there.
 
Late to the party here. I lived there in 2011, and there are quite a few spearos down there. Deborah Andollo also has a freediving academy (Blue Yemaya) so well worth getting in touch.
