Freediving Sporades Islands

Search about diving centers and email them! Usually they do scuba, but i guess you can join them! The dive sites are always the same no matter if you are scuba or freeding ! You can rent a boat, but if you are new in the area it is not a good idea! If you can rent the boat with a skipper, this is better but more expensive!
Keep in mind that is illegal during night, you must have a buoy so that boats can see you , you must avoid ports and the usual ferries's routes, stay away from fisherman's tools, and places that are of archeological interest.
I suggest joining a scuba center to avoid possible troubles with the locals., but you can also dive from a beach by your own!
Very important! You may have your buoy but behave like you have not one! I mean, if you hear the sound of propeler, make sure you spot the boat and wait till it's away from you!
