Greeteng to you all.
Couple of months ago I have moved to Los Angeles and so far I have not been able to find many people to do pool or open water training sesions. ( Static , dynamic , constant and safety)
And with those few I found it's been difficult to coordinate our schedule.
So finaly I have decided to start a database on yahoo groups to get as many people together to make it easier at any time to find a diving budy for training.
The group site include a calendar where you can post dates you will be available for training and coordinate with other members. Also it will be a good tool for visiting divers if they would like to join us when in town.
So check it out, sign up and lets do some diving.
The name of the yahoo group is L.A.Freediving and the link to the site is

I'm looking forward to hear from you

Hello. I'm trying to get back into shape and live in Orange County area and would like to try my luck in freediving, spearing. I'm really out of shape so I'll be hitting the 24 hour pool often and will be ordering Terry's diving book to read.

I just joined the yahoo group. Do you post here or in the group?

Hi,

Three of us got together on Saturday at Leo Carrillo. For me it was like a free day of professional training- Thanks Vaclav!

If you want to check out some gear and pick up a signed copy of Terry Maas' book you can drop by Pacific Sporting Goods/ SCUBA in Long Beach. First call and make sure the owner Tom Murray will be in, as he's the freedive enthusiast there. Otherwise The Freedive Shop in ?Redondo is dedicated to freediving, spearfishing, and is the US distributor for Picasso.
