Hello all! This is my first post, and I am a bit of a newb to freediving, although I am a bit of an obsessor when I find a sport I love:cool:. I was in Tulum MX in November 2020, I escaped to travel to MX, and remained unscathed from Covid for the trip, luckily, and received my first FD cert. And I am wondering how the folks on here who are competing in Freediving got into it? Is it possible to do it while not living near the ocean/cenotes etc? I live in Redmond OR. There are supposedly a few lakes here that you could dive in, but BRRRRRR! And that's about it. So practice is dry, and I feel like a drug addict waiting for my next hit until I can get back to Tulum to dive again!!

I should have noted that this was my second dive of the day, my second day ever of Freediving. Yes, I know I have loads to work on:ROFLMAO:
