I have been doing some freediving/spearfishing in the florida keys this week and the water is WARM, so I went a few times without wearing a wetsuit. Despite doing some relatively shallow and short dives it occurred to me that this might not be safe because I may not be positively buoyant above 10 meters. I haven't tested my buoyancy yet, but does anyone have any insight on this? Should I wear a wetsuit anyway to be positively buoyant above 10m?
