Freediving world series?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.

Anyone heard about the upcoming Freediving world series run by ssi?

What's the bet you'll have to have an SSI certification card to compete and current AIDA & CMAS records won't be considered?

I guess it'll be a chance for someone to set a 100m dynamic world record again...
 
Would be interesting if there is prize money involved. Will attract the big guns and compete with Aida. There's only so many watches you can win.
 
LOL, is it just me that find it striking to see the skeptical cold reception of the idea?

I heard there may be an SSI pool comp in Sydney which coincides with a dive expo called odex . I dont know the date yet. September maybe.
 
Sounds like a nice venue for Ron, the DOL-fin hydrofoil maker to go to.

I'll await their announcement.
