Welcome! We're all coming to stay at your house

Hola! It's good to hear that there is a reef in front of Vera Cruz. I've driven thru the city many times on my way to Chetumal, Quintanna Roo.
Interestingly, the water in the Gulf of Mexico is clear in that area. It is because the gulf 'floor' is sandy, not mud like up here at the Texas shore.
I think that the city of Vera Cruz is one of the most beautiful and picturesque locations on this planet. Flowers are everywhere, and the girls, :thankyou Man, don't get me started :inlove

Welcome from Texas! Post some pics of your dives!

thanks for the welcom and yes erik if you visit the city just tell me.
and slingshaft...sometimes the people see the beach in veracruz and never think about the beuty of his reef. try to dive some day here.
and agbiv i will post some pics when i learn how to do it jejeje...

couldn't have said it better!, and and have some dos X's on ice for me toorofl

Welcome Diegodvr and that's a great vid Cozumel. Fantastic vis and great fishing. You are some lucky dudes with conditions like that. Any laws or restrictions in Mexico?

Dave

restrictions?
when you get in a reserve (reef) you have to pay your ticket , around 25pesos (2 usd) to the care of this places, and its prohibited fishing in this areas, you can't use gloves diving, you can't take out any species, even stones jejeje.

i think that are the basics rules...
you can't hunt the sepecies classified like protected. respect the hunt season, and keep away from the reef the points.

The Mexican pacific coast are fantastic for the practice of fishing !

- no spearing in the marine parc.
- you need to have a fishing permit
- there are rules like the quantity of fishes and the number of fishes you shoot per day. These rules vary per region. Here it is 5 fishes max a day, and max 3 per type of fish.

spare gun and scuba it's prohibited here in Veracruz, because some fishman use tu hunt lobsters and some fish

(sorry for my english)

Sus inglesia es muy bueno. El idiomia del mare y ir de pesca con jabalina es universal. Protection de los caladeras es muy sabio.

Dios te beniga!

And so much for my Tex-Mex but hope the message is clear!
