Yes, I was wrong. This is not the record video. No music
Very impressive anyway

Thanks for the url, Frank!

That was quite a swim! I noticed that he didn't use neck weight...

Hi Peter..

great dynamic ... congrats..

Maybe its just me, but for a second at the end
of the dynamic, it looked like you wanted to turn ,,,, again ???

After watching that, all I can say is WOW... Peter, athletes like yourself really inspire the rest of us!

Thanks again for the kind words.

I think that the only one who belived, that I was gonna make that turn was Stig. He actually says in the video: He´s gonna make the turn and take 2 meters more!(in danish)

Well, I know, that I was DEFENATELY NOT!!. In the future -let´s see!, but right there I guess that there was nothing left.

Right now I´m working on some ideas (bigger neckweight, new mono, different training) so the 200+ is just a project like any other improvement in my personal best, wich at the moment happens to be the WR.
Let´s see how Mifsud manages his attempt in November.

I wish him the best of luck!

Regards...
Peter P

Fantastic video and what impresses me just as much is the way Peter has handled himself and his world record status on this forum. A true champion athlete and a man of giant character as well. Humble champions are few and far between in this "look at me world" - Peter P a true inspiration for me and I'm sure for many others.

BTW - I bought the Cyprus DVD(a must see) in the hope of seeing lots of great monofin technique but while there were some greats the bulk of the monofin technique was not what I was hoping for. The 200m footage is my basis for technique now!
