Hello,
I was just about to pop a pair of Gara Professionals into my shopping basket when I noticed that Cressi have more flexible version (LD) coming out in 2010.

Gara Pro soft: its about time!
I've heard wonders aout the footpocket fit, but the original Gara Pro are said to be really stiff. Welcome the Pro LD.
What I don't like is the colour of the blade: from catalogue pics they look too bright for spearfishing. A bit of DIY camo job seems mandatory...

PS: Geronimo Elite speargun looks great!

Does anyone by chance know when they might be available?

In Italy they say the Gara Professional LD are already available. I haven't seen them live, but they are said to be available at Dallacolombina in Lerici. Official price is 99 euro, but they offer a promo price at 74,90.

On a side note: Dallacolombina is maybe the oldest sperfishing gear shop in Italy. It's located in the town where english poet Percy Bysshe Shelley drowned at sea ("Unfathomable Sea, whose waves are years, whose abysses of deep whoe are brackish with the salt of human tears!").
