New to this forum. Been diving in various forms for over 36 years including 5 years in the North Sea as a deep sea saturation diver. Now is the time, due to various accidents, injuries, to dive deeply (pun intended) into free diving. I am most comfortable in warm, ocean water!

My goal is to discover new aspects within myself and my relationship to the sea through freediving. There's this call, deep within that MUST be answered!
And if I can re-match my old form from 30 years ago- 30 meter dives for 90 seconds, that would be cool too!

I'm a big fan of Jacques Mayol and there is some strange attraction towards Pipin's antics!!

Safe diving!

I never quite made 30 meters 30 years ago but, after a lot of help from todays instructors I more than doubled my personal bests from the '70s. Try to get some instruction. It's amazing what they can teach you.

I knew one Gulf Diver- Bill Rayburn. If he was any indication of what gulf divers are like................ :)

I believe you used to make mostly surface dives. Is it now bell/sat? Must be heaps of work after Katrina & Rita.
