G'day from Port Lincoln!

Hi,
I'm a newbie. I'm from Port Lincoln, South Australia. I've been into water sports since i was three (i'm 15) and i've decided to take my freediving to the next level, If i dont get eaten by a white pointer first!.
Any other Aussies out there?

Yep there's a few of us lurking around here

Not sure who is floating around South Australia, there is a guy called Zaf who was a keen freediver a couple of years ago, not sure if he's still doing it though. You could try the forum on Australian Freediving Community - Fanatical about Freediving in Australia in the South Australia section. There's a freedive club in Sydney, hopefully some competitions in Oz in 2009 and there's a couple of instructors on the East coast too so you're definitely not alone.

I'm from Melbourne, Australia. It's south, though a little further east than S.A.

You sure are in a hot spot for some serious man-eaters out your way. Thankfully my local dive spots have no "undesirable" fish to deal with.
