hello all, i am new to the sport and am looking for a good not great setup that will get me going on the right foot. now i have been freediving the palm beaches for about 6 years, mainly beach dives in anywhere from 10-40 ft of water. so that being said i have about 3-500$ to splurge on this new venture. i have played with cheapo fiberglass polespears, but i am now looking to get semi-serious into becoming a recreational spearo! im not looking to bag record fish, nor bluewater species. though i would like to jump a few dolphin and cobia when/if possible.

thanks for all the input in advance!

David
