Hi everybody! I have a question about fins. I've decided I want to start spearfishing this month, now that summer is here and a surf-able wave is a rare thing :(. Currently, I own a cheap pair of Finis floating fins that I use for bodysurfing and swims. Here's what they look like:
Long Floating Fin - Training Fins - Technical Products - Equipment | FINIS.
They are kind of short and stiff, which I know is the opposite of what is usually used for spearing/freediving. Could I use these for spearing though? I plan to dive near a few jetties, all of which are less than
30 feet deep.

Welcome to the forum, indeed you can use these fins!
Some folk can dive one hundred feet without any fins at all!
They might not be the most effective fins though!
You could find lots of other fins that would make things a lot easier but see how how you get on....
