another great spero passed 12 hours after jack prodonovich, here in san diego, after a 5 1/2 year battle with cancer, george has peace at last.
george was a gentleman and one of the nicest people to be around. as a divemaster on spearing/diving trips to isla guadalupe, i could always count on george to stay underwater for 3-4 minutes....in water that carries very large two-toned grey fish with teeth !.....it was a bit disconcerning to have him "disappear" for those moments. yet, he always had his wife/partner/dive-buddy jan with him....safer hands than i could be.
i hope george and jack are finning through calmer waters and have the grace of god with them.

Hey I'm sorry to hear that too. I hope they can get together and hunt in their own clear waters

thanks.....wherever george goes...i'm positive he will beat someone's ass in backgammon while waiting for the next big yellow fin swimming by ! something i can attest to sadly....
