Hello all ocean lovers,

Just a quick note to introduce myself - I am a fellow ocean woman, marine ecologist, passionate about the ocean, the life within it and our relationship with it. I am always found by the sea surfing, sailing, swimming or diving. I've been freediving as a hobby for years now, exploring the underwater world but I am ready to take it to a deeper level.

I am currently in Mexico, moving away through workaway and Couchsurfing, exploring the local, authentic way of living here, usually by the sea. I would love to get my freediving levels (AIDA? Molchanovs?). I am thinking now of heading to the Yucatan peninsula and getting to learn more about freediving in the cenotes. However I am wondering if any school/center offers training in exchange for volunteering time/help (like a workaway scheme). I am also open to going somewhere else in Central America...

If you have any recommendations about this or about freediving in Central America, or if you're looking for a buddy, hit me up!
