Hello all.

Seeing as I'm as new to this as can be achieved, please forgive any possible misplacements of topics, I'll get the hang of it.

Since childhood, I've been drawn to the sea, and during my younger years I lived 20' away from it, making it my very best friend. I used to spend over 8 hours per day swimming and snorkeling and fishing and freediving. But I grew up and moved away. I still love the ocean, I kept scuba diving and am now being sucked into the void which is technical diving and loving every bit of it.

However ...

I really do miss the simplicity of freediving and so I've decided to get into shape for it, as I'd like to improve my spearfishing experience as well.

I'm 21 years old, 2.03m/6'8'', 115kg/253lbs and did a breath-hold time of 03:07 last night. That's the starting point. Bad/average/good?

What is the next step? What sort of training, diet and excercises are in order? :martial

All input shall be greatly appreciated.
