I live, surf, fish, and dive in Costa Rica. There is a reef about 2 miles off shore here with, strong currents and a good upwelling of plankton, that holds alot of fish and especially Manta Rays. I was lobster hunting yesterday on this spot with 7 manta rays circling the reef. I could hardly concentrate on my mission, with these enormous creatures all around me. Quite an experience though. I will never forget it as long as I live. If you are coming to Costa Rica, I will be happy to guide you to this incredible location. I have a small adventure tour company here, Aventura Pelada. I also know of a shipwreck that is over 100 years old. See some photos and book a tripwww.aventurapelada.com
