Gidgee

Question for you spearos from down under, What in the world is a gidgee? A sheila from down undah was telling me about this device and was befuddled of her description. Does anyone of you Aussies have a picture of it? :duh

It is a hand spear(sling) with a pranger(5 prong) head on it.

They are ok for close stuff but obviosly limited by the length of the pole ! you know what I mean!!

so...the longer and the stiffer the gidgee...the more "fish" it gets.
