Hello Guys.
some of you swim with our Glide-monofins many years. I will be glad to see your comments or wishes. We always near and work for you.
Welcome to the new web site WaterWay Fins Shop
Thank you that you swim with our sticker. I never asked you to change sticker as other producer did ask Goran C. Top 10 Aida ranking freedivers have always personal discounts. We don't have any Glide-fins in stock. ALL Glide-fins are individual for every person.
Bogdan.

Do you have a smaller training monofin for pool training? I will need one for Branko Petrovic for learning perfect technique.

tell me please how many cm should the blade ? we have blade 50x50cm for kids monofins, for classic swimmers dolphin kick also.

I'm a happy owner of Nemo Wing and considering to upgrade to Glide-fin now.
I have rather high instep and with most monofins I have ever tried I feel strong pressure only on top of the instep. I don't have this problem with Nemo footpockets, though.
To what extent are the footpockets customizable with Glide-fin?
Another concern is the weight - what's the approximate weight for it?

Yes, all pockets for the Glide monofins are personal made. for example some guys like to get bigger angle. Japan orders always for wider feet. some freedivers ask Glide-fins for open water, to swim with 2mm socks. some never use any neoprene socks and swim without. tell me please your size ? or send me pict in mm. ?

Hi Bogdan, I see you're a bit on a pr tour, and I applaud your efforts to get in touch with us.

For years I wish Waterway would make a new 'Classic' kind of fin, 1 mould footpocket on a fibreglass blade. But what that design handicaps is the lack of footpocket angle. So I would love to see the following:

Fibre glass blade, simple mould open heal footpocket with a 15 to 20 degree angle and rubber edge cover.

It would be the best fin to start with for freedivers, an affordable E 150,-
A lightweight fin that allows for slower swimming and straighter legs and is great for CWT.

Now I'm stuck with recommending the Nemo or classic, where the classic is the most affordable E130,- but is really lacking in footpocket angle, and the Nemo is already over E 200,- and still has only 12 or 15? degrees.

Actually I'm trying to make a 'filler piece' so that my 'old classic' fin has a pleasing angle and will be great to lend out to beginners and use for CWT.

Glide fin:
In general I think if you can lighten up your glide fins design, by say 1,5 kg (less inertia), that would really be a nice innovation. I hope that true competition motivates people to develop and improve their line of products.

Another thing that may please the freediving customers is offering coloured rubber and blades. I would love to have a black footpocket with a shiny silver blade, or shiny metal blue blade, or shiny metal red blade to match my Elios suit colours!

Footpockets: the monofin's industries challenge. I happen to have flat feet, some have a normal feet some high arch feet. I found that this has a big impact on how snug the fin fits. Actually in your classic fins you glued in some neoprene pads, and I found this nicely helps to spread out the pressure on the foot.

So this is my feedback and wish list. I hope you find is useful an practical. I'll be happy to help you test, just as I helped Trygons on their goggles with some detailed reporting.

Love, Courage and Water,

Kars

Hello Kars. thank you for the words. new Glide-fin is about 3,2kg-3,8kg depend from stiffness and pocket size. David M. taped add. 1kg to the pockets for his competition fin. light fin can "fly" out of water with slow kick. we use now floating rubber for the platform under the pockets.

Bogdan,

Greetings from Mallorca!

A friend has recommended your fins to me and I have seen many good reviews of your fins while researching online. I would like to buy a monofin but I have a few questions:

1. I am an intermediate freediver (AIDA 3 star) but I am improving and I have a very good dolphin-kick, hence my need for a monofin. I am 183 cm and of slim-athletic build (82 kg). Which stiffness do you recommend for a mixture of recreational freediving, dynamic apneoea and for depth? (I am guessing that a medium is best for all-round use)

2. I note that there are colour options for the blade. How about the foot pocket? Is there a choice of colours?

3. There is an option to select a foot-pocket which is suitable for "one hour swimming with socks". What thickness of neoprene socks do you recommend for your fins? (I usually use 2 or 3 mm)

4. What are the dimensions and weight of the glassfibre Freediving Glide-Fin?

5. What is the estimated shipping cost to Mallorca, Spain for a glass-fibre Freediving Glide-Fin and a padded monofin bag?

6. What is the estimated time for delivery after placing an order?

7. What is the blade angle (in relation to the foot pocket)?

8. When I measure my feet, should I do so while standing or with my feet elevated? (There is a small difference in measurements.) I assume that I should do this with my feet elevated, as the fott pockets should fit while I am buoyant in the water.

9. From where do you ship the fins? Are you based in Canada?

Thank you for your help. I hope to place an order soon!

Hi Bogdan

I wanted to ask if you offer different blade sizes on your glide fins. I'm interested in a larger size blade than standard. (Someone told me you can do this, but there's no sign of it on your site).

Thanks a lot for your help
