Schoeman!!

Montreal - South African Roland Schoeman continued to display blistering form as he posted the second-fastest 50m freestyle time ever to capture that crown on Saturday at the 11th World Swimming Championships.

Schoeman, who had set two world records en route to the 50m butterfly title, won in 21.69sec, second only to the world record of 21.69 of now-retired Russian great Alex Popov.

Hey Crusty.....who you voting for this Sat? Is the neighbourly bond strong down there? Or will you be staying out of this one until you've had a tactical update from Mr Eddie Jones?

Its a love Hate realationship, we love to hate them.

Narr not really we have heaps of Kiwies living hear drinking all the beer, most of them are the size of Mack Trucks so you learn not to get in an Arguement about rugby with them.

Dont know who will win this Weekend I would say the All Blacks but it will close a one, I have a close bond with S.A so Kinda hope they Win

Last year I was in Kwa-Zulu Natal on a plains game hunt. For those who aren't familiar with the terminology, that means going "deer" hunting in Africa. Lots of kinds of antelopes but not after the Big Five or any dangerous game or any predators, etc. The outfitter was first astounded and then delighted to find that he had two American clients who were devoted rugby fans. We hunted hard from dawn to dark until the final Saturday. Hunting ended at noon. We came back for lunch and then all headed over to Gerald's house for beer, bultong and rugby, SA vs NZ. Gawd, what a game!

If more Americans got to see rugby, the NFL would go bankrupt!

I have a mate who is Ex Zimbabwe and loves his Rugga, Bultong and Beer must be in their blood, you end up the night with a big sing song and rugby on the front lawn.
Would love to see it take of in USA, you could make one hell of a team with the speed and size of your NFL players
Might have to harden them up a bit though

...there many rugby followers that harbour thoughts of the US Eagles with committed direction from people like Dan Lyle becoming dark horses in the future. Be good to see..Hey OldSarge nice to hear you have visited my home province. I'm sure you have got some of the spirit of Kwazulu Natal in you now! I have been all over Zululand and visited both Hluhluwe and Umfolozi for work and pleasure and I must say I still get butterflies in my stomach when I arrive back home, and water in my eye when I leave. When I was younger I joined the Kwa-Zulu Natal Hunting and Conservation Association for a Junior Hunting and Conservation course and went up to the Nyala Game Ranch in southern Zululand and the sights and sounds of the bush get in your blood. Not forgetting the tastes of biltong and braais (Mmmm boerewors). And the fact that you can be in the waters of Natal or Mozambique diving/fishing/surfing in a couple of hours.
RIGHT! Where's the phone number for SAA!!!!rofl rofl
