Miss Batray is having eye surgery today (lasik) so she may be off line for a little while.

Good luck and a quick mend! :D

let us know how it goes - I am saving up for it!!

Sniff! Ah, to be young again. Glaucoma (even when completely controlled) makes it impossible. Heal quick, kiddo, I'm researching dive spots.

all the best Batray!! my sister-in-law had it done and she has never looked back... (ooh that doesn't sound good?) rofl

Thanks you guys!

Let me say, this is a Phenomenal thing! Three days ago, my vision was 20/900. Now, it is 20/20, and that's with a bit of haze! The doctors think it will correct to 20/15! Like many before me, I was able to immediately read the clock after the procedure. It was 11:55 a.m. My face and eyes feel so much more relaxed than they used to.

My procedure involved all lasers, with no blade used. It is better for people who have thin corneas, which I have. I've been healing very quickly. The visible sign my eyes had surgery are a couple of red spots that were caused by suction cups during the flap-making process. Like I said, it is amazing! Anyone who is considering having this done, Do It! I cannot say enough good things about it, and feel free to ask me about it. Thanks for your support!

Enjoy your laser and X-ray vision, Bat Ray. I'm now taking my lasic surgery money and am investing it in laser-resistant, lead underwear.
