Good monofin to start with???

Hello,

last week i tried a monofin for the first time and was absolutely fond of it.

Now i wonder how much money i would have to spend to get a decent monofin.

Is it a good idea to buy a beginner monofin for about 100€ from leaderfins, specialfins or similar?

Should you go for something fancier right away?

Otherwise - any good piece of advice for me?
I am swimming for fun, maybe it will evovle, and it will only be indoors. I swim quite well but isnt prof at all. And my hobby is to swim underwater so it is not so much for fx butterfly swimming or so?

Any good fins, likely "cheap", for me? I guess 200 euro is TOP MAX for the price.. WOuld be nice if cheaper

I also have a few friend who use the Leaderfins Hyper and they very content!
As Martin said, it's the best you can get for the money. Especially the 22° angle needs to be mentioned. You won't find it on other fins for that money.
Furthermore I can highly recommend Leaderfins' customer service.

Will the negative bouyancy of the fin be a problem for me, since I already have pretty "negative" legs due to low body fat. I'm thinking about lying on the surface, relaxing before a CWT dive or dynamic in pool.

A positive boyancy fin will not hold your legs at the surface during your relaxing. For this u will need a pool sausage. Otherwise the wetsuit will do the job.

About fin get a Glide (waterway) or a Hyperfin (hyperfins) or a hyper pro (leaderfins) but before going that far it is best to train with very short rubber bi-fins dolphin kicks.
