This year ill be looking to have a few long weekends in Europe for as cheaply as possible. Can anyone recommend some places for good freediving/spearfishing around Europe?

I'll also be looking for a buddy if anyone fancies maybe 3 or 4 long weekends away this year, maybe Thursday to Sunday.

Cheers guys

Well, of course i would like to recommend the Guernsey fish-in in August.

i can also recommend a trip to Sardinia - North coast like costa paradiso or capo testa which is epic, but little parking during the summer [boat access].

i will be interested to see what others recommend...

Check out Corsica. Island that's a part of France. Looks beautiful

I fancy Galicia/Asturias in north Spain. A mate of mine went surfing there a couple of years ago and said the coastline was amazing.

there is always The west coast of Norway, big fish and expensive beer...

I fancy Galicia as well. I am planning a visit in summer, but need to do more research first.
Brittany looked very good when I was there last November.
Another thing you will need to consider is licences and local laws. I will be interested to see where you end up going.
