We are hoping to visit Nepal next April and then tag on a week on the beach for a bit of R&R. Would love to visit the Maldives but it hasn't got the most convenient flights from Nepal! So we are also considering somewhere in India or Sri Lanka.
A lot of the brochure shots of the Maldives look like the islands are surrounded by sand - can anyone recommend some resorts which have good house reefs or good snorkelling from the land? preferably not too deep (for the wife of course! ahem)
Or maybe somewhere in India or Sri Lanka with some good snorkelling from the beach? Or even somewhere I haven't thought of?
