Hi all,

So my amazing wife has got me my first GoPro for my birthday...I know I'm a luck boy....and its the black edition!!! Its an immense piece of kit but wondering what settings all you other GoPro users use for best quality freediving / spearing footage? I'm thinking of 1080 and 60fps in wide format but would appreciate any of your thoughts too.

Cheers

Nick

1080-60 is a good overall setting, with pro tunes setting even better but the camera can randomly shut down in pro tune so i dont use it. the 2k setting is nice if u got a computer that can handle the editing, its a great videocamera only downside is the still photos are not good so i use my hero2 for that, they did just put out a new firmware update so maybe that worked out some of the glitches

Thats great thanks for the info. My wife is a professional photographer and so her computer is great for editing the massive files the GoPro produces but sadly she rarely lets me use it!

Hopefully I will get some good footage for you to see soon...although the way this season is going for me so far I wouldn't hold my breath (no pun intended)

Cheers
Nick
