Snake River Prototyping is offering the BlurFix(TM) adapter for your GoPro HD camera. The BlurFix allows you to adapt a wide variety of 55 mm filters to your camera. The included low profile UV filter is depth tested to 130ft and has no vignetting in 480p, 720p, and 1080p modes. Also available, is a custom low profile red filter by URPro that produces the same vignetting results with the added benefit of color correction. Because camera filters are made of glass, the optical clarity is superior to plastic lenses. The filters are removable for no vignetting in all modes (r1-r5). The system performs identically to the standard GoPro HD camera because the stock OEM fish-eye lens remains in place. Blurfix is CNC machined out of aluminum and anodized black. Its black finish and stepped chamfer on the inside surface give you the best optical performance (similar to all high-end camera lens.) Also included with the system are desiccant balls that are installed in a lollipop groove immediately behind the filter so that fogging is never an issue even if you are assembling the unit in a humid environment.
