Can someone give more info about the wi*fi for hero 3.
I mean what is the use for it.
Can i start stop change mode using it underwater?

you can change your settings on your phone or with remote (which is waterproof)- ALSO, if you had spectators on land- they could control your camera or watch a live feed. The downfall to the WiFi is it is a drain on the battery.

There are other uses for the WiFi that are more practical than in the water. It can control up to 60 cameras within a 500 ft range.

As a temporary solution you might find a software filter in the better video software to correct the perspective.
