Howdie folks!

Went for a long waited one-day freediving trip in Eilat this wednesday.
Apparently there was an UW photography competition that wed-saturday, so lots of humans with cameras were under.
We went to our usual site 'the Satil', shown marvelously in this pass [ame=http://forums.deeperblue.net/showthread.php?t=52814]Thread[/ame].
We noticed 2 tankbacks with cameras and decided to pose for a shot, a few days later I located the photographer on one of the scuba forums.
I'm the one in the black suit, my buddy is Ilan. The deck (where we are) is at about 20m, that hole used to be the cannon turret.
Courtesy of Razi Cohen from Eilat - who as now also taken interest in freediving .

It was a FINE diving day with lots of personal discoveries and fun, well worth the 10-12 hours total in the car and being awake for a total of over 40 hours (started the drive around 3am after a long day, luckily I wasn't driving).

PS: the image tags are disabled here so the pictures are not embedded in the thread. Can one of the moderators update papa smurf of this bug?

Great, looks like very clear waters, did you pose all the time during a single sitting or was it over a couple of dives?

Viz was around 25m, the usual for that site.
It was during one (show off) dive and the pictures are posted in the order they were shot.

Hey, buddy! Awesome pictures, man!

I ordered my Picasso suits from the Deeperblue shop (as any Deeperpatriot would) and they sent me a 5 mil, instead of a 3 mil, so I ordered a 3 mil just in time for the PFI course...I hope...anyway it's a good excuse to keep the 5 mil for later this year, heh-heh.

Now all i gotta do is keep the hurricanes away from the ill-fated-state (of Florida). I'm very jealous of the dive pictures, but I'm keeping my heartrate down none-the-less. I've got a several more days here in Rockport, Texas...waiting for that damned 3 mil has never seemed so long.

I'll have to mess with one of those pictures when I get back to the cubicle, God forbid I ever do.

I thought you meant that you "got shot last wednesday"...like...with a speargun. The post is more interesting my way, but I'm relieved that you didn't literally get shot. Still, great picks man, thanks for sharing. Till Later...

More interesting for YOU. I find your idea much less interesting.
I felt like a provocative title.

Yo,

very good pictures, and the wreck is also a nice place to dive. Last time I was there the vis was rather 15-20m, but it was also ok. Then I saw a a diver (with tank) then, floating over about the middle of the boat, behind the bridge. He hadn't moved, not a bit. The very weak flow made him turning around, he was breathing very slowly, very smooth. I was wondering, if he had been sleeping.
Also it was interesting, that I dove under the scuba divers, they were about on 20-22m. I waved them a hello.

Is this turret on the front of the boat, am I right?
Deep! You did crall-stroke, and your buddy dolphin, did I see rightly?

I hope I will visit the wreck again in September.

10x Aydin, the guy who shot them has a reputation of a good photographer.

Yes Jee, that's where the turret used to be. 15m is not very common in that site, usually it has 20m+.
If you see the deck it's 20m, if you see the bottom it's 25m. If you see the bottom diagonally then it's awsome.

I have no idea what a crall-stroke is so I'll say 'yes'. If it's for identification matters then you are correct, my buddy was undulating.

They grey ones are Buechet(spelling), not sure which but soft, and the other guy (me) is using Omer millenium green (medium stiffness).
