I am looking to get a replacement GPS after my Garmin Etrex venture HC just died 
i have been using it on the kayak when fishing and spearing, and also on my boat as a backup.
needs to be waterproof and with a good screen. I have the bluechart with this unit so it makes some sense to stay with Garmin...
Any suggestions on which unit would make a good replacement? cheap is of course attractive, but a larger screen could be better...
I do have a 12V 7ah battery on the kayak, so can plug in some power, but need to be able to trasnfer it to the boat too.
Any recommendations?
