Now I am back in freezing London, the cold weather we had in Dahab does not seem so bad after all! I want to say thanks to Lotta and Linda of Freedive Dahab - I really enjoyed myself. Diving in the blue hole is hard to beat, and some excellent coaching got me deeper than I ever expected.

Now I have a good idea of what may be possible! Thanks girls, I promise to train and come back soon to hang of the end of the rope a little further down....

Whoever is going out to the next deeperblue week: you will have a great time!

well done annamaria
dahab is a great spot and the training is great, hard to beat the blue hole. Cold weather in Dahab or was it just linda complaining of the cold?

it was really cold! Maybe you had better luck just the week before. I was out at Lighthouse with Linda one day, and the weather got so bad we could not dive at all in the afternoon. During one of our sessions at the bue hole we had less than 10m visibility, the water was green and full of jellyfish - I have never seen it like that before. Apparently, the deeperblue week in February had all the nice hot weather!

The last day in the blue hole we still had very strong wind and waves crashing over the reef, but the sun was out and the vis back to its usual splendour, so our final session was great.
