Greece in May

I will be visiting Greece end of May, and probably I will try to find some places for spearfishing. Could you suggest any good places near Athens?

Also I am not familiar with water temperature there at the beginning of summer. What should be the thickness of my wetsuit? I could either take a 3mm standard wetsuit with me or a freediving suit (1.5mm). Let me know what you think...

hey adam may is a bit early for a 1.5mm, a 3 would be better as for places to go, why not take one of the high speed ferries to an near by island. just pick one that suits your schedule and go, the farther you get from athens the better.
