Hi Everyone,

I currently live in Southern California and am looking to gain more knowledge regarding breathing techniques and safety.

I started freediving with my dad and brother at a young age in different types of waters. Recently I started taking freediving much more serious and am looking to gain more knowledge through more experience divers.

Thanks,

Pete

Welcome to Deeper Blue Pete.

Where exactly do you live? In the Los Angeles area there are two clubs- the LA Fathomiers and the Long Beach Neptunes. Attending meetings of either one might be a way to make contacts.

Down south is the San Diego Freedivers.

Welcome to Deeperblue, Pete. A freediving course can be a great way to develop your skills. Some are located in Southern California. Could be worth your while.

Hi Pete: a DeeperBlue welcome to the forum!

Hope you had a great July 4 weekend. Any weekend time to do some line dives? I'm game if you live in LA or OC area.

Thanks,
Jon
