Hi everyone, my name is Nita (Mr.) and I just started freediving/spearfishing in Cambodia for a few months now. I'm American/Cambodian :pompous:

It all began from reef snorkeling and developed into a new addiction after a friend let me play with his custom sling made of bamboo and large umbrella spines. HOOKED since then!

Hard to find nice waters here but I'm on the hunt constantly.

I'm also into paintball (competitive), football/soccer, and general adventure.

Hoping to learn a lot from the community and meeting loads of nice folks.

Hey, welcome to Deeperblue. Glad you could join us. It would be interesting to see your friend's custom sling. It sounds like quite a contraption! Feel free to use the forum search function for specific things you'd like to research, or browse and ask questions. We also have the International Buddy Network if you'd like to connect with people from your local area. Cheers, and have fun!

Welcome Nita.

Sounds like some of the early America spearfishing pioneers - I believe they used umbrella spines as spears too.

Football, really :(. Never mind ;)
