Hello everyone! Very glad to be on the site among fellow spearos and learn from people with so much knowledge. All the assistance is very much appreciated. I have been scuba spearing in the Gulf aropund rigs since early 2000’s and am starting to do more freedive spearing. I was in Mexico at Palapas Ventana in August and had a great time. I definitely am feeling the free dive spearing addiction as I read thru "BlueWater Hunting." I have been shooting a trusty JBL SAS and Riffe and just ordered a Daryl Wong and am very excited to start shooting it. My goal is to keep diving the Gulf rigs – even as they are disappearing – and also do 1-2 big trips around the world for spearing. Not easy to find people with the time, interest and money for spearfishing so I am always looking to link up with people on the trips. Would like to do Costa Rica and Azores in the coming years. Great to meet everyone and be careful down there!
