Hello all

My name is Dan and I live in Malta (Sliema). I am relatively new to apnea/spearfishing but trying to learn. I'm a sat diver by trade. Anyone else out there from Malta?

I haven't dived any ww2 wrecks in malta but I have dived other vessels that have been purposely sunk close to shore. Are you talking scuba or freedive? There are quite a few dotted about.
I see you are from Texas. I spent some time working out of galveston a few years back. Good night out and some seriously large fish offshore! Saw my first whale shark out there on a an offshore platform. Nice.

Hello and welcome on DB sounds you are having fun with whale sharks!!! aint they dangerous like the white shark?

Whaleshark are filter feeders like baleen whales. They eat only krill & plankton. Only danger is if you're swimming with them and maybe the tail could whack you. :blackeye Very docile though.
