Hi Maccaron
Our water is not clean, 0 - 0,5m viz. So very lottle spearfishing. Very occasionally we get up to about 3m viz which last for a day or two. We do our spearfishing mostly in Angola or South-Africa. Just came back from trip to Ghana. Clear water up to 30m viz. Got smallish fish

Oh thank you so much ..i also travel far to explore new places ..so now i understand ..hm is the visibility poor due to shore bottom is it sand in most in Namibia?
what about Ghana are there rocks?
you said small fish in Ghana ..idea why?
sorry i ask much but not much explored in Africa yet

There is lots of sediment etc in the water. Mostly sand beaches with a bit of rocks in the north. In Ghana we dived of a boat at Tema. Dived around the anchored ships outside the harbour. About 5-10km offshore. Viz very good. Dived on reef running from shore to 10km offshore. Viz 4-15m. Close inshore viz 1-3m on wrecks and reefs. Saw some fish in the 20kg class but could only get some up to about 8kg. Dorado, kingfish rainbowrunner snapper and rubberlips. There are big fish, we didn't get any. In western Ghana good reefs and fish but we didn't go there. My friend that stays in Ghana has shot some nice fish there.

Thank you very much Maddog
Looks like you know the drill and spots in west Africa
I appreciate detailed information
Do you think to go Ghana again
Well 8 kg fish is already not bad)))
How deep were the wrecks in Ghana
?

Would love to go back there. there is still a few fish with my name on. Some wrecks about 2m from surface down to 10 m and some in 12-17m water

hah cool
please accept my contact i hope maybe we could join someday
i try to go once every 2 months , maybe could catch up in some nice spot if you reccomend
