Greetings from Qatar

Hello everyone. I am new to the community of spearos in Qatar ( I have previously hunted in France). I am looking for general advises on spearfishing in Qatar (like best locations to hunt, what time to hunt, type of fish etc...), and also to join the spearo community here.

Also where can I get the best spearguns (something shorter than 110cm) in Qatar?

Welcome on Board. Have you done SF in Med Sea before?

Yes, actually all my previous experience was in the Med sea. I did spearfishing in France, Turkey and Croatia. Here the the Persian Gulf, it is very different than what I got used to in the Med Sea. All the previous hunting I did was offshore, mostly around 100-500meters and in like 15-50m depths (I don't own a boat). I am so eager to explore more the marine fauna of Qatar.... I am also trying to manage btw spearing and studies/work (im med student and do a 25hrs job per week) so it's bit hasty...
