greetings from sweden

Hey guys, im Alex, im romanian but I've been living in Sweden for a long time.
I've been spearfishing for a year, more or less, got the germ in Rhodes(Greece)...and started in Fiji , then Australia and Indonesia.

Now im back in Sweden and looks like spearfishing its forbiden here( I found out on this forum) but allowed and apparently very good in Norway and Danmark so I cant wait for the spring

I own 2 spearguns an Undersee ZAP 145cm australian and an Ulusub 145 cm mid handle and with an enclosed teflon track finished in Andre's workshop in Bali.
I'm very proud of the ulusub one but it looks like I have a small problem with it
I'll def. bring this up very soon as its very annoying...

Hello and welcome! I know there is an american spearo in gothenburg with the same problem. If you check out the facebook group "uv-jakt oslo" and "oslo fridykkerklubb" you will be able to get in tuch with some active spearoes just on the other side of the boarder. And with a decent suit you dont have to wait till spring 6,5mm opencell will do the trick...

Ure from Norway as well wright ?
I'm very intrested in comming there and do some fishing hope u can help me with some questions, i must start buying some things,for ex. thicker wetsuit and a shorter gun i think.

Yeah,Im from Norway,I live a couple of hours driving innland from oslo.So that area is my closest huntingrounds,Its abit too cold at the moment,or the fish is too deep,atleast for me, the last temp and viz rapport was 15m+ vis and -1c down to 8m.Check out Frivannsliv.no for info on norwegian spearing and gear and stuff.I got a 90gun and its too long most of the time in the summer,oslofjord avrage viz is 3-5 m...

3-5 m visibility is not much at all...is that general or just Oslo fjord?
I already looked up frivannsliv and some fb groups and i hope to make some friends soon so i came jump in when the water gets a bit warmer.Have u only been hunting in Oslofjord?

Ive only been hunting for one season this time around...was quite active both scuba and freediving in the late eighties and early nineties,cant remember why I quit though...
Been around abit here,mostly oslofjord and the south coast,the viz gets better the further away from oslo you go.I have had a couple of dives on the westcoast wich is awsome! great wiz lots of life.Might be going there again in a couple of weeks time
As for kit I use a mtm elios suit 5mm its abit too cold now in winter,but I use a 1mmvest under and a 3mm shorty on the outside its abit stiff but it works.Im defenetly getting a thicker suit for next winter,had I known better I would have gotten a 7mm first time around.
