Greetings from the Pacific Northwest. New to the forum and relatively new to diving.

Pretty Varied actually. We have a lot of freshwater (lake and river diving) in the immediate vicinity. Two of the clearest and deepest lakes in North American are within 2 hours of here (Waldo and Crater Lake). And the Southern Oregon Coast is about 2 hours at the closest. It would be described as cold water, fairly fast currents and low viz. Haven't got over to the coast yet but, I am looking forward to it.

Where roughly in Oregon are you? I am just SW of Portland, but later this summer planning some trips to southern Oregon and possibly Northern California. All of this depends on the go ahead from my doctors and people to dive with of course.

I live in the Rogue Valley. Will be starting a new job on the 16th. It has an irregular schedule so I don't know if I will even get a chance to dive this summer at all.

Welcome from the Atlantic North-East!
