Hello everyone,

Southern-based relatively new spearo here with access to the Essex-Dorset coast within a couple of hours of home. I have already met up with the Sussex club for a dive and plan to fish as long and as often this year as work/weather/water temp/SWMBO day-passes allow.

I am in negotiations on getting a boat and the missus initially suggested an inflatable kayak (because it is easy to store without taking up space) but having spoken to a few people about it the durability is an issue. Thus I am trying to steer the debate towards a favourable decision on a RIB. She likes the idea of lots of fish and is quite supportive of this endevour thus being able to deflate and store a boat would be a bonus, hence the RIB idea. It would mean inflating and deflating everytime but I recon it's worth it :)

Looking forward to some good fishing and meeting up with fellow spearos out there, adn of course I am always on the lookout for a diving buddy.
